About Taft Camera Club

We are a courteous group of photographers. We welcome all ages and photographic abilities. We meet the needs of all levels of photographers and help each other improve our photos.

Our meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30PM. American Legion Post 63 – 618 Center Street. Taft, CA.

We have 5 competitions a year: February, April, June, September, and November. To pay for a set, $1.00 digital and $1.00 for prints. $5.00 digital and $5.00 print for the year.

We have Show and Tell showcases the other months of the year. Members talk about their pictures and the other members critique the photos and give the photographer ideas of how they might make improvements. 

We also have a Summer Project with a theme. The club’s members can use any format that they want to show their projects (slide show, movie, etc.). They are encouraged to use their imagination. The photos can be digital, print or both! This helps members show their creativity.
